2014 marks the 50th anniversary that The Beatles played at the world-famous Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado so booking a Beatles tribute band seemed like a great idea for the METALCON Denver Welcome Party. Plus, George is played by New Tech Machinery’s own Sales Manager, Tom Laird!
The Fab 4, not affiliated with the Fab Four out of Las Vegas, is a Denver-based Beatles tribute band comprised of talented musicians who even mimic accents and movements of the original Beatles. Their charm has landed them some really gigs in their 15+ years including cruise ships, private parties, sponsored outdoor concerts and professional sporting events!
The Fab 4 are scheduled to rock from 6:30 to 8:30 at the METALCON Welcome Party on October 1st at the Colorado Convention Party. The party will be hosted by the Colorado Coalition founding members S-5! and New Tech Machinery.

We’ll also be offering open house adjustment days, with no-cost maintenance provided by an official New Tech Machinery technician, so check with a New Tech Machinery distributor near you.
New Tech Machinery employs some of the brightest minds in the rollforming business and they are here to help you with:

As we settle back into the office after another METALCON we reflect on a peachy show in Atlanta, Georgia! Every year we look forward to meeting new faces and reconnecting with our valued clients. This year was no exception as booth 1713 enjoyed steady traffic the whole show. The location of the booth was ideal as it was near the front entrance and near coil distributors, making it a sort of one-stop shopping for potential buyers. New Tech Machinery also enjoyed posing with ME and seeing the great work of the Metal Magnolias in action!
At the show, New Tech Machinery demonstrated the SSQ roof panel machine including the NEW extended frame, GutterArt™, SSQ roof panel machine and a Swenson Shear Snap Table. Machines were also sold right off the show floor! Thanks to all who made it a great show!
NTM Offers Adjustment Days with New Employee, Industry Veteran, Chuck Burch
New Tech Machinery is happy to welcome industry veteran Chuck Burch to the team. Burch has spent 35 years in the industry and has a special long-standing tie with NTM. When he first came into the industry he was trained by fellow industry veteran and NTM alum, Service Manager Ron Schell. “Chuck and I go back a long way. His expertise and ability with roll-forming equipment will enhance our field service and technical support capabilities. He is a great addition to our staff,” Schell said.
Burch has worked for industry companies as well as himself which he has been doing until very recently, since 1994. In that time, Burch has built up an impressive wealth of knowledge of the industry and knows his way around most every machine.
Burch will be traveling around the country on behalf of NTM and showcasing his extensive knowledge during adjustment days, so keep up with www.NewTechMachinery.com to see where he will be next.
Burch is a Virginia native and in his spare time he enjoys hockey and motorcycles.

Discussion was had with DMCC representatives regarding assistance with upcoming promotions. Afterwards, a tour of the field was given when we learned some….

New Tech Machinery Becomes a ‘Green’ Manufacturer
New Tech Machinery, a Denver-based manufacturing company of portable rollforming equipment recently earned certification from the City and County of Denver for its participation in the Denver Energy Challenge. Manufacturing can be a challenging industry in which to be energy efficient. However with the growing demand of green products and business practices it is within the best interest of companies as well as consumers to become more energy conscience.
New Tech Machinery first became involved with the Denver Energy Challenge through Xcel Energy, a sponsor of the program, by cutting its energy usage with the implementation of energy efficient lights. The plant at New Tech Machinery is 55,000 square feet so that’s a lot of lights! So far New Tech Machinery has saved the equivalent of taking two cars off the road for a year with just that simple change.
John DeBerard, New Tech Machinery’s Director of Engineering has been instrumental in bringing green practices to the company. “I was pleasantly surprised that we are able to achieve the planned energy savings as well as significantly increase the light level in our plant and office areas. This has been a true win-win experience.”
As the Denver Energy Challenge merges with the city’s Certifiably Green Denver program to expand its services New Tech Machinery has plans to look into becoming more sustainable in other areas such as energy, water, waste, transportation and overall business management.
The new voice on the other end of the line at New Tech Machinery is Angela Gimer! Gimer joined New Tech Machinery earlier this year and has been the first point of contact for many customers ever since. Some of her new duties include working closely with shipping, logistics and maintaining relationships with New Tech Machinery’s distributors and clients.
Gimer brings a few years of relevant experience with her which made her transition fairly easy. Before joining New Tech Machinery Gimer held similar positions within the manufacturing industry as an office coordinator. She has handled safety and environmental programs including 5S, ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 and is also certified as an ISO 9000 auditor and program coordinator. Gimer currently does double duty as a student in the field of web development.
In the little bit of free time she has, Gimer enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities in beautiful Colorado. The New Tech Machinery team is excited to welcome aboard such an ambitious and knowledgeable member. Say ‘hello’ to Angela Gimer the next time you call New Tech Machinery.
Tom Laird of New Tech Machinery has recently earned the title of National Sales Manager. The change will be beneficial to New Tech Machinery and its clients. “I am very excited that Tom has taken on the role,” said COO Roger Geer. “Tom is the consummate pro. He has the ability to work both ends of the spectrums of the business; from the first time gutter machine buyer, to a large company ordering multiple roof panel machines.”
Laird has been NTM for over 7 years and has been involved in all aspects of sales and marketing. Laird will continue to build the NTM brand internationally and domestically by raising public awareness to new and innovative products such as GutterArt™ and the new flush wall profile for the SSQ roof panel machine. “The future looks very bright for New Tech Machinery,” said Laird.
In Laird’s personal life he enjoys spending time at home with his wife Allie and their two dogs Ike and Tina. He is also an avid guitarist who plays the part of George Harrison in a Beatle’s tribute Band called the Fab 4.
New Tech Machinery has just released a new flush wall/ soffit panel profile for the SSQ roof panel machine and it is AVAILABLE NOW! This profile is unique and is not available on any other portable rollforming machine. It offers easily adjustable reveal from 0″ to 3″. Runs up to 22 gauge. Accommodates Hot Melt Technologies sealant system. The profile is the first of many new products to be released by NTM in 2013.
NTM Mexico Names Employee of the Year
New Tech Machinery values dedication and hard work, as does every employer, and we go out of our way to recognize a job well done. Every year our Hermosillo, Mexico branch recognizes the special contributions of one individual. This year the “Employer of the Year” award went to Francisco Encinas. Francisco has been with the us for 7 years. He was chosen based on his dedication and loyalty to his job and to the company. New Tech Machinery congratulates Francisco and thanks him for all the wonderful work he has done for New Tech Machinery.
With so much positive feedback from professional gutter and roofing contractors, New Tech Machinery decided to see what they thought of the installation process firsthand. On November 15th, New Tech Machinery visited Denver-based Mile High Seamless Gutters on a GutterArt™ installation job.
Mile High Seamless Gutter is a longtime client of New Tech Machinery that has been in business since 1985. The GutterArt™ faceplate was easily attached to their MACH II gutter machine.
The professional team was smooth in taking off the old gutter, (a color similar to the facia in the pictures) and then running out pieces of GutterArt™ out. The team was impressed with the fact that the embossing pattern made the gutter thicker which made it easy for one person to run out long pieces of material and carry alone. They also thought the pattern looked especially great on the beautiful sunny day Colorado is famous for.
Thanks to Mile High Seamless Gutter for letting us tag along, the GutterArt™ looks great!
NTM Supports the Troops and One of Our Own!
New Tech Machinery is proud to support John DeBerard (NTM’s Director of Engineering) as he continues to serve our country as Captain in the Navy Reserve. New Tech Machinery also supported John during a previous Iraq deployment.
He is shown here saluting Command Master Chief Nguyen in preparation to transfer the Battalion Flag to his relief, CDR Milt Washington
New Tech Machinery, home of the world’s finest portable rollforming machines, revolutionizes the gutter industry again by introducing GutterArt™! GutterArt™ allows gutter and roofing contractors to offer a unique alternative to standard gutters.
New Tech Machinery recently teamed up with GutterArt™ in a new strategic partnership. GutterArt™ is exclusive to New Tech Machinery and can only be run on MACH II Gutter Machines. Roofing contractors can offer GutterArt™ to their clients as a professional and unique product which will increase curb appeal and property value. The professional finished look is like that of classic crown moulding for the outside of a home.
New Tech Machinery is pleased to announce GutterArt™ will be a part of upcoming tradeshows and informational material such as webpages, videos and brochures which are already available.
This summer, New Tech Machinery created and launched a Spanish version of the website which will be the first of a few new languages. As New Tech Machinery targets more Spanish speaking countries throughout Latin America and Europe the website’s Spanish version will be an important marketing and communications tool.
The Spanish version includes everything the English version does and both will be updated at the same time. The machine names will stay in English to be consistent with marketing collateral and branding.
The website translations were kindly done by the New Tech Machinery team in Hermosillo, Mexico. So far the website has even helped bring new international traffic to the social media channels from countries such as Mexico, Brazil and Spain.
